Morgan Environments launches The Mangrove Project, a non-profit organization that dovetails strategic resources, funding, partnerships and leadership to initiatives that support environmental and educational goals.  The Mangrove Project seeks to educate and make a positive impact on the mangrove forests through research, habitat restoration, education and husbandry initiatives. www.mangroveproject.org

MCHarry Architects who received their LEED Accreditation Training from Morgan Environments reaches huge milestone and LEED certifies 1st Municipal Project in Miami Dade County. 
The project located at the Village of Palmetto Bay received it's official LEED plaque on September 13th at the Village Council Meeting. Morgan Environments partnered with MDC Community Education to provide technical LEED training courses. See press release.

Lilian Chiu invited to speak on the "Disconnected Workplace and Trends in the Design Industry for Planning Professionals " to the University of Central Florida and the University of Florida's joint Citilab project. Panel moderated by Scott Lagueux, AICP, LEED AP, Land Design.

Chiu nominated to FIU Alumni Association. Lilian Chiu was inducted as a Board Member of the FIU Alumni Association.  Lilian serves as Co-Chair of the FIU Alumni Center Building Committee and Chair of the 2011 10th Anniversary Torch Awards Gala.

Morgan Environments launches Broward College LEED AP Technical Review and Exam Prep Courses. Courses include LEED BD+C, LEED Green Associate, as well as future courses to be developed in the LEED Healthcare / LEED Laboratories Pilot Rating Systems.

Morgan Environments partners with MiaGreen for LEED 2009 V3 Technical Review Program and Exam Preparation Course, the first of its' kind in Florida.  Always at the cutting edge of LEED Professional Educational, Lilian Chiu created a customized series for MiaGreen and the new USGBC LEED AP+ and Green Associate credentialing program. 


The course will launch at the MiaGreen Expo & Conference, expecting over 3,000 people, the conference brings people, companies and strategies from all over the world to South Florida. www.miagreen.com

Chiu, CEO of Morgan Environments partners to create a new green workforce educational initiative alliance.  Lilian, former President Elect and Chair of the Advisory Board of the US Green Building Council South Florida Chapter launches a new training and education initiative to provide green workforce training to the Florida market.

Lilian T. Chiu, CEO of Morgan Environments and Mayor Manny Diaz alongside Miami Dade College's David Lotker at the Gateway to Green Conference hosted by the City of Miami Office of Sustainable Initiatives. Morgan Environments served as conference operations and also sponsored the conference

that hosted over 600 people in the green and sustainable design industry.

Lilian Chiu creates "Boardroom Series" of programs for the business community.   Joined here by Robert Nowlan of Miami Children's Hospital, Tim Munson of Baptist Health Systems and program sponsor Arthur Hoynack of Arellano Construction after the "Healthcare Boardroom Series" in November.

Lilian Chiu Elected President Elect of the US Green Building Council South Florida Chapter.   Lilian is has served on the Board of Directors of the USGBC for several years and in 2007 - 2008 she served as Chair of the Donor's Circle and the incredibly successful GalaVerde Annual Donor's Campaign.

 

September 2008

Lilian Chiu, Re-Elected to the American Institute of Architects Miami Chapter, Board of Directors. In 2007-2008 she served as Programs Chair  for the Miami Chapter and raised over $20,000 in sponsorship and program revenue for the chapter.
